Investing In The Next Generation Of Entrepreneurs

On July 25, 2026, Samuel Tang, Chairman of OneVine Foundation, became a Shark!

Girls Inc. of Orange County’s Smart-Ups entrepreneurship program gives girls in 3rd–6th grade the opportunity to develop their creativity, confidence, and entrepreneurial skills. Smart-Ups encourages girls to dream big, think creatively, develop grit and determination, and believe that where there’s a will, there’s a way. As part of Smart-Ups, Girls Inc. hosted its very own Shark Tank event, where elementary students had the opportunity to pitch their ideas and put their entrepreneurial skills into action. Sam joined three accomplished women from different professional backgrounds as one of the event’s Sharks. These talented 3rd-6th graders showcased their creativity, ideas, and entrepreneurial spirit while the Sharks asked questions, shared advice, offered encouragement, and even made investments in their businesses!

As an organization, Girls Inc. equips girls with the skills, support, and experiences they need to grow into strong leaders, offering programs from elementary school through college and even post-college externship opportunities. OneVine Foundation loves partnering with Girls Inc. of Orange County because their impact goes far beyond pen and paper in the classroom. Their programs create fun, memorable, hands-on experiences that teach girls valuable skills they can carry with them far beyond school. We are grateful to partner with an organization that is investing in the next generation of strong, confident, and capable young women.
